Automated greenhouses for the home should be commonplace and easy to use. They should not be hard to find. We looked and found not one.
Smarty Pi Automation got to work and started designing one. We wanted beginners and longtime gardeners to feel comfortable with the automation, and designed it for everyone ages 7 and up.

Smarty Pi Automation got to work and started designing one. We wanted beginners and longtime gardeners to feel comfortable with the automation, and designed it for everyone ages 7 and up.
A control panel with a nice LED matrix shows menu icons, animations, and other visual indicators. The text screen also helps you navigate the friendly menus. Simple buttons and a joystick for browsing through menus are designed for interactive use. Each automated setting can be changed to manual mode and allow you complete user control.
This is NOT artificial intelligence - this is beautiful and helpful automation at your fingertips. The automation is always there to help - if and when you need it.
Moisture sensors and a zone-based irrigation system allow you to select the perfect watering approach. Air-circulating fans and motorized windows help ventilate and cool the greenhouse. Temperature and sunlight sensors automatically measure the greenhouse environment. A 20-gallon water catchment for rain includes a garden hose attachment, so you'll always have the water at the touch of a button.
The sensor system is integrated and designed to let you easily track how the plants respond to daylight, watering amounts, and temperature with a 7-day logging of sensor measurements.
A motorized door, key lock, and a very user-friendly price tag wraps up the tour of the Smarty Pi Automation greenhouse.
